Czech Emergency Health Insurance
Emergency Health Insurance is only usable for:
- 3rd-Country National, visa-free entry or short-term C-Visa
- 3rd-Country National, applying for the first long-term D-Visa
Important: Emergency Health Insurance only offers urgent / acute care coverage (in case of an accident etc) but no coverage for normal non-urgent visits to the hospital, doctor or dentist.
In case you also want to be insured for normal visits to hospital, doctor or dentist then the Emergency Health Insurance is not sufficient, instead take the 'Complex Care' Insurance.

Coverage in the entire Schengen zone for just 2.400 CZK more. Worth considering.
STANDARD – sum insured 1.500.000 CZK, maximum limit of insurance cover per one insurance event 1.000.000 CZK. It also covers the transit to the home state.
PREMIUM – sum insured 2.000.000 CZK, maximum limit of insurance cover per one insurance event 1.250.000 CZK. It also includes the coverage of all the Schengen space territory.
